Terms of Use for DBF Viewer Pro (image-convert.app)

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using the website image-convert.app and the DBF Viewer Pro application (together, the "Service") operated by Juan José Rea Gonzalez ("we", "us", "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Use of the Service

DBF Viewer Pro provides you with a tool to view and manage DBF files locally in your browser. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to access and use the files you open with our Service.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The accuracy and integrity of the data displayed depend on the quality and structure of your DBF files.

You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or prohibited purpose under these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding DBF files you provide), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Juan José Rea Gonzalez and his licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Colombia and foreign countries.

The DBF Viewer Pro application itself, including its source code (if not open-source and provided under a specific license), is the intellectual property of its creator.

3. Data Security and Privacy

As stated in our Privacy Policy, the DBF Viewer Pro application processes all files locally. No data from your DBF files is transmitted to our servers.

4. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

5. Advertising

Certain parts of the website (outside the `/dbf-viewer/` application) may display advertisements, including those served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. Interaction with these ads is governed by the policies of those third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Juan José Rea Gonzalez, nor his directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Use of the application to view files is at your sole responsibility. We are not responsible for any loss or corruption of data that may occur.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Colombia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
